If It's On There, Why Can't We Use It?
I think these laptops have not done much good, unless you have internet at home and the password to get onto it. But one thing that laptops are good for is to listen to music. A lot of people can concentrate better with music playing than they can without it. I think the laptops have only created somewhat of a problem in the classes, because most students want to be on their laptops. But teachers don’t let students use them much. As far as I can see teachers really don’t use their laptops much. I think students might know how to use them better.
They have a better understanding of how computers work and spend more time exploring and trying new things than the adults do. The assignments I’ve done on my laptop are papers, typing, editing and working on the internet but I can only do that at school. Yes it’s true, some teachers don’t let you use your laptop at all, even if it’s for school work for a class. I think teachers should give more internet research papers and maybe just let you get on the net for a little while to just chill listen to music. That’s what these laptops were built for, to be like a huge I-Pod. If they didn’t want us to use them, personalize them and let them be a part of our lives, why did they put these features on?
